Indoor Tennis in Seattle
Seattle has very few indoor tennis options open to the public, and they're hard to book, especially in winter — Amy Yee Tennis Center is extremely busy, and Tennis Center Sand Point is also busy and far from much of the city. Here's every indoor location we know of, public and membership.
Amy Yee Tennis Center (public, South Seattle): reserve online through Seattle Parks' ActiveNet with an Indoor Tennis Court Reservation Pass ($60 resident / $66 non-resident). Book 1–6 days ahead — booking for a day opens online at 9:10 AM the day before. No same-day reservations.
Robinswood Tennis Center (public, Eastside): reserve by phone at 425-452-7690, up to 6 days ahead, starting 8:30 AM daily. No online reservation.
Eastside Tennis Center (public, Kirkland): book a court with an Access Pass — in person, by phone, or online. No membership required.
Membership clubs (Tennis Center Sand Point, Seattle Tennis Club, Mercer Island Country Club, Central Park Tennis Club) require joining before you can book a court. See each club's own page for contact details.
For the full step-by-step, see the booking guide.
None of Seattle's public outdoor courts are covered. How fast a court dries depends on how much rain and sun there's been — there's no meaningful difference between courts on that. Indoor is the only reliable rain option. Play factors current weather into when it finds you a window to hit, outdoors or in.
How many public indoor tennis courts are there in Seattle?
There are 3 public indoor tennis locations in the Seattle area: Amy Yee Tennis Center (Indoor) (10 courts, South Seattle), Eastside Tennis Center (6 courts, Eastside), Robinswood Tennis Center (4 courts, Eastside).

Can I book an indoor court same-day in Seattle?
No. Amy Yee Tennis Center's online reservation system requires booking at least 1 day ahead (up to 6 days ahead) — same-day isn't available there either. Outdoor public courts are the same — no same-day reservations — but an unreserved outdoor court is open for walk-up play any time.
Where can I play tennis when it rains in Seattle?
Indoor courts are the only reliable option.
