What to know
The softer-felt US Open for clay, grass, and indoor courts; lively and spin-friendly with less fluffing than the XD. Dies faster on abrasive hard courts, so keep it on soft surfaces.
- Wears faster than most — budget for more cans
- Lively off the strings
- Takes spin well
- Stays playable for about 2 weeks before it goes flat
When to open a fresh can
About every 2 weeks of regular play, if you want consistent bounce — this ball's pressure fades gradually like any pressurized ball.
