What to know
Penn's durability flagship: Encore core (claimed 22% longer-lasting) plus LongPlay felt built to survive multiple hard-court sessions. Plays firmer and heavier than tour-grade balls, which some players read as solid and others as harsh.
- Holds up well — fewer cans over a season
- Lively off the strings
- Stays playable for about 3 weeks before it goes flat
When to open a fresh can
About every 3 weeks of regular play, if you want consistent bounce — this ball's pressure fades gradually like any pressurized ball.
